IT'S TIME TO DO THE BLOG CANDY DRAW for reaching 125 followers.

Hi all,
I'm here today to announce the winner of the
125 FOLLOWERS blog candy,

I had 23 comments,

I said if you put the picture of the candy

 in your side bar you would be entered twice.

 some of you commented twice to do this,

& some of you put your blog address in the same comment,

 So I have been through all the comments

& compiled a list of all the entry's,

(I made the list in word & then couldn't fathom

how to get that onto my blog

so I printed it off & then took a picture of it)

but again I could not for the life of me,

so again I took a photo of it on my screen & done it that way,

JOURNAL CALENDER (AUGUST 2011)

Hi all,
I'm here today with my AUGUST page,

& to let you know,I HAVE A SMALL GIVE AWAY (it's in the left side bar)
click the pic to leave a comment in the right place to enter.

My finished JULY page will appear as if by magic near the bottom of this post,

For those of you that are not in the know,

this challenge lasts the whole year,
you have to journal every day in the form of 12 monthly calender pages,
& then head over to the the the the the kathrynwheel blog & link up your creation,
so Kate Crane & any one else can see what you have come up with,

OK here it is,
I think this page looks all summery,

Here's what I used for the background,

Here's the stamps I used,

The butterfly & flower were the free cover stamps

from Craft Stamper Magazine,

& this is the finished background,

I thought this page didn't need much

embellishing, because of the heavy boarder,

I coloured in the pattern & the flowers with copic markers.

The squares are again as the other months part

of a TSV on QVC bought ages ago (glad to put them to good use)

AUGUST is stamped  with an alphabet onto scrap card

& coloured with copic markers
the days of the week are done on my computer,
as are the numbers (then punched them out with a flower punch)

I used a Zig pen & white gel pen to doodle round the squares.

There's no room for anything else so I have

actually stuck things down this month (lol)

my confidence must be growing (tee hee he)

Here's my JULY page filled in & stuck down,

apologies for the fuzzy pic's

my son has messed around with my camera,

(tut, tut, tut) not sure what he's done,

I have tryed to correct it, but no joy.

Well that's about it for today,
